Lee County Middle High School student-athlete Zach Watterson was recognized during the monthly meeting of the Lee County Board of Education on Tuesday, October 12.
Zach, a junior, recently added to his impressive list of accomplishments in golf. He placed first in regional competition and followed up that performance with a third-place finish at state competition. Zach was named to the 10 member All-State Boys First Team following the state tournament, and in September, Zach was named Kentucky PGA Junior Tour 2021 Player of the Year in the boys 15 -18 division.
Congratulations to Zach on a remarkable 2021 season and for representing the district and his school admirably - both on the course and off.
