January is school board appreciation month. Members of the Lee County Board of Education were recognized during the January 13, 2026 regular meeting for their service to the district, students, and staff.
Officers were elected for the 2026 year as follows: Board Chair - Donald Napier; Board Vice Chair - Avis Thompson; Board Secretary - Earl Ray Shuler; and Board Treasurer - Tina Lucas.
The district is incredibly fortunate to have a board who is involved, supportive, and committed to success.
