Reminder: After-School Tutoring for Lee County Middle School students (Grades 6-8) will officially resume next Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026.
When: Every Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM
Please be advised: Transportation must be provided by the parent/guardian. For the safety and coordination of all students, pick-ups must be made promptly at 4:45 PM in front of the school.

We want to congratulate our Academic Team! They competed in The District Academic meet today.
-Roxy Childers placed 2nd in Science and 4th in Arts and Humanities
-Destiny Hernandez placed 5th in Math
-Jaxon Whisman placed 2nd in Arts and Humanities
-Allie Smith placed 1st in English Comp and 3rd in Language Arts
-Alex Gilbert placed 4th in Language Arts
-Cooper Wise 3rd in Social Studies and 2nd in Language Arts
- Max Baker 1st Math
-Bo Herald 1st Social Studies
Our Bobcats walked away as District Champions and will compete for The 14th Region Championship in a couple weeks!

LCMHS Newsletter- February 2026- Grades 6-8

The HS Girls game tomorrow night (Monday 2-2) against Cordia has been canceled
2026 Regional Bowing Champion! 🎳😼
Jared Lucas competed against 79 bowlers at the Region 8 Bowling Singles Tournament and won first place and a ticket to the State Championship and the Kentucky Bowling All Stars Tournament!
We also had Jesse Staton, David Andrews, and Alexis Turner who competed and did an amazing job!
We are super proud of our Bowling team!!

Both our 6 and 8th grade teams secured champion titles and our 7th grade team secured runners up! This afternoon's Band Christmas Concert has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 6pm at Sedley Stewart Auditorium.
We would like to congratulate our homecoming king and queen, Isabella Caudill and Jared Lucas! 👑
1st Runners up: Jocelyn Peck and Cole Wilder
2nd Runners up: Makayleigh Ward and Raymond "Bub" Morris
Congratulations to all of our candidates for being nominated as well!

Homecoming games for tonight have been moved up an hour. Boys JV will start at 4, Boys Varsity to follow. Homecoming Court between games and then Girls Varsity game. We will still be recognizing the 2000 All "A" 14th Region Girls Champions at halftime of the girls game.

Our Bobcats and LadyKats are in action tomorrow, December 12, 2025 for Homecoming!
Bobcats tip off at 6 PM! We will crown the court in between games and the LadyKats will take on the Lady Wolves after!
