PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Mrs. Leah Konarzewski
Principal

Hello Bobcat Families,

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal at Lee County Elementary. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such wonderful students, dedicated staff, and a supportive community.

I am a proud graduate of Lee County High School and a native of Lee County.

This begins my 18th year in education, the majority of those spent in Pre-K to 3rd grade classrooms. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Rochester University and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University. I am currently in the Educational Leadership program at Asbury University, where I will complete a Principal Licensure and the Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree. I hold a Rank 1 certificate and am proud to be LETRS trained.

My goal is to create a school culture that fosters a positive, safe, and nurturing space where learning can occur and all students can achieve. Our focus will be on the foundational building blocks that students need to succeed academically and in the future.

I believe that student success is a collaborative effort and I encourage you to stay actively engaged in your child’s education. Please reach out to me anytime via email or the main office phone.

Thank you for your support. Let’s make this the best school year yet!
