At Lee County High School, teachers have been using innovative websites to get student engaged and use to using the personal technology devices: polleverywhere.com, kidblog.com, mobymax.com, certs.com, TCA Online Prep, and WinLearn Courseware. Polleverywhere.com is a text in site where students can text in answers to multiple choice and open ended questions and get automatic feedback from other students. Kidblog.com is a website where students can blog and respond to questions from other students. Freshman and sophomores are using mobymax.com, which is set up for students to take a test and do lessons on Math, English, and Reading to get them ready for their junior and senior years. Seniors in Transition Classes are using certs.com and TCA Online Prep which is an ACT prep program where students take a practice test, then go through reviews and lessons to prep for COMPASS and ACT. Winlearn.com is a program that helps students prepare for vocational testing-the WorKeys test, and College and Career Readiness- ACT and COMPASS.   Some of these websites allow student with smart phones to access them to complete their school assignment.  They websites are interactive and engage students in this new technological world we live in.
