PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED @ 6:00 P.M. AUG. 28, 2017 TO HEAR COMMENTS ON PROPOSED TAX RATES

The Lee County Board of Education will hold a public hearing in the Lee County Board of Education Board Room at 242 Lee Avenue in Beattyville, Kentucky on Monday, August 28, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. to hear public comments regarding a proposed general fund tax levy of 44.7 cents on real property and 44.7 cents on personal property.

October is Bullying Prevention Month and the Kentucky Center for School Safety is proud to announce this year's Kentucky Safe Schools Week is set for October 15-21, 2017. Together we can "Get Involved and Get it Solved, STOP the Bullying!"  The online “Get Involved…Pledge Against Bullying” encourages involvement and invites students, staff and communities to pledge against bullying.
